Aquatic Plants
This is Hornwort (Ceratophyllum Demersum). This plant is a floater and does well at moderate light levels and cooler water (70-75 degrees). If the water is high in nutrients and CO2 this plant can grow several feet in one week.

This is an Ozelot Sword (Echinodorus Ozelot). This plant retains its red coloring even at low light levels. This plant is a gross feeder, meaning it needs large amounts of fertilizer and bright light to thrive. This plant does well at high temperatures as well as lower temps.

This is Aponogeton Crispus. It grows from a tuber. It does well at higher temperatures as well as lower temperatures. It will go through a dormant cycle for which it may be removed from the tank and stored in a cool dry location for 3 months or so, then replanted. It may bloom, the blosoms can be fertilized by using a soft bristled paint brush. The seeds will sprout easily and must be kept free of snails. The young plants will require fertilizer in order to grow.
